  • Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to embed IA elements into enterprise systems and operational processes.

3. Microsoft 365 (M365) Governance, Policy & Architecture

  • Contribute to the M365 roadmap and governance framework, including Microsoft Purview and Copilot deployment.
  • Translate business, regulatory, and security requirements into standardized governance and IA designs (e.g., provisioning, metadata, access controls, retention, sensitivity labels).
  • Support adoption through use case development, training materials, QA/testing support, and transition to sustainable operational ownership.

4. Compliance Monitoring

  • Partner with Information Security to respond to IG related alerts, incidents, audit findings, and policy violations.
  • Design an enterprise IG compliance monitoring framework, including KPIs and metrics across M365 and legacy platforms.
  • Build and transition interactive dashboards that provide visibility into overall IG health and remediation actions.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with Microsoft 365 roadmap updates, emerging IG capabilities, and industry best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, data driven insights, and stakeholder engagement.

6. Information Governance / Information Architecture Subject Matter Expert

  • Serve as the IG/IA subject matter expert on corporate initiatives, ensuring governance requirements are embedded in systems and business processes.
  • Provide expert guidance to business units, project teams, and working groups on IG best practices and solutions.
